Data Deletion

Because PeptideCRM stores your client and business data only on your device, deleting your data is fully in your control — there is no server-side copy for us to separately erase. Deleting your account login and deleting your client data are two separate actions; see below.
Delete data on your device
All client, sales, inventory, and communication data lives in a local database on your phone. To remove it completely:
- Delete individual records — clients, communications, reminders, and other entries can each be deleted directly within the app.
- Delete everything — uninstalling the PeptideCRM app from your device permanently removes the entire local database, including all client and business data. This cannot be undone unless you have a backup.
Delete your account login
To delete your account sign-in (the credentials that let you log in):
- Open PeptideCRM and go to Settings
- Tap "Delete Account & Data"
- Confirm deletion
This permanently removes your account login from your device — there is no server-side account for us to separately delete, since your sign-in only ever existed on your device.
Important: deleting your account login does not, by itself, erase your client and business records. That data remains in the app's local database until you separately delete it (see below) or uninstall the app entirely. We keep these as two distinct actions on purpose, so you don't lose your client history by accident while just resetting your login.
If you're unable to access the app to delete your login yourself, email [email protected] and we can advise on next steps — though since we hold no server-side account record, there is nothing on our end for us to delete on your behalf.
What is NOT automatically deleted
Any backup files you've created and saved yourself (to your files app, cloud storage, email, etc.) are not affected by account or app deletion — those are your files, in your storage, and only you can remove them.
Subscription cancellation is separate
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. To stop billing, cancel your subscription directly through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PeptideCRM → Cancel).
